Help create change, one adventure at a time

Open the doors to adventure for all! To new abilities, attitudes and self-confidence, to potential, just waiting to be fulfilled. With your support, around 3,000 disabled and disadvantaged children and adults can access life-changing experiences through outdoor adventures at Bendrigg.

Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and exploring the outdoors provides multiple health benefits, but disabled people often miss out on activities that are proven to boost physical, mental and social development. At Bendrigg, disabled and disadvantaged children and adults can access adventures of a lifetime.

Individuals, families, and groups come from all over the UK to take on challenges at our fully inclusive activity centre. Whether onsite or offsite, visitors can build their self-confidence and develop their skills through our accessible and inclusive adventure activities.

To make this happen we need to raise around £600,000 each year and this is only possible with your involvement. Bendrigg is a registered charity, and we receive no statutory funding. We are voluntarily registered with the Fundraising Regulator, commit to the Fundraising Promise and follow the Code of Fundraising Practice.

There are lots of ways you can get involved, and every pound you raise or donate makes a huge difference to the lives of disabled and disadvantaged people from all over the UK. Help challenge attitudes, break through personal barriers and make extraordinary things happen!
