Corporate Partnerships By working in partnership with Bendrigg Trust we can give more disabled people adventures of a lifetime!

Helping Us To Make The World A More Inclusive Place

Bendrigg Trust is more that just a charity, it’s a movement for change, for the inclusion of disabled people in the world of adventure activities and beyond. For over 40 years, we’ve been making a life changing impact on the lives of disabled and disadvantaged people.

In order to continue making adventure accessible to all, we need fundraise nearly £500,000 per year. This is where the support of corporate partners can make a huge difference.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this to other businesses. Supporting The Bendrigg Trust through our CSR strategy was one of the best pieces of work we have done for staff engagement. Whether you do it with fund raising events or volunteering, the benefits we found were clear and obvious. Most importantly they are a fantastic organisation making a hugely positive impact on the lives of those who they host. You cannot fail to be inspired by The Bendrigg Trust! – Playdale

Other Ways You Can Support Us

Gifts or Services In Kind

Donating a gift or services in kind would be a great practical way to support our cause. We are often in need of equipment, products and services to help improve. As well as all the “behind the scenes” bit’s and pieces that we are always in need of such as office, kitchen or cleaning equipment.

Volunteering

Companies are often full of people who have skills and expertise that could really make a difference to our charity. From photographers to Builders the time you give means a lot to us.

How will your support make an impact?

The severity of the challenges and barriers faced by disabled people have increased considerably since the Coronavirus pandemic. This has led to worsening physical and mental health, greater isolation and lower levels of wellbeing. Research shows the pandemic has not only widened existing inequalities for disabled people but it has created new ones too, including heightened fear and anxiety of contracting the virus.

By choosing to support Bendrigg Trust, you’ll be supporting our mission :

To promote inclusion, encourage independence and build the self-confidence of disabled and disadvantaged people, through the provision of adventure activities.

The Scope Disability Price Tag Report found that life costs £583 more on average per month if you’re disabled.

With 1 in 5 disabled people facing extra costs of more than £1,000 a month.

We believe that EVERYONE deserves to have an adventure of a lifetime, but in order for disabled people to afford a trip to us, we have to subsidise our costs. Your support will make a huge impact

The pupils from Wilson Stuart School recently attended a residential at Bendrigg. They were only able to afford their visit after receiving financial support from our Subsidy Fund. The short video below shows just what it meant to them to experience an adventure residential at Bendrigg.
