We have over 45 years experience providing outdoor adventure activities for people with disabilities and from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Bendrigg has different course options available throughout the year for schools and organised groups (such as charities and colleges), families with a disabled member and adults with a disability.
Our friendly team are on hand every step of the way to guide you through the bookings process, give you the warmest of welcomes and make sure that you have a fabulous time.
People of all abilities are welcome here, including those with autism, physical disabilities, learning or behavioural difficulties. Our team will work with you to enable everyone to participate in the adventure activities. “How is that possible?” we hear you ask. Well at Bendrigg, we have the setting and the scenery, the equipment and the expertise, the people and the passion. Together, we have a limitless supply of adventure, with a limitless determination to improve people’s lives.
Situated between the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Park, Bendrigg serves as the ideal base to explore some of the country’s finest landscapes. Our stunning rural location is just a few miles from the M6 motorway and the main West Coast train line, meaning that we are easily accessible from any direction.
Check out this video which follows the wonderful pupils from Wilson Stuart School on their residential enjoying activities such as climbing, caving and canoeing! You can also find lots more videos on our YouTube channel to help give you an idea of what we do.
